Erica Sandhu has a Master of Arts degree in Political Science, and graduated from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia in 2019.
During law school, Erica was the student coordinator of the Centre for Feminist Legal Studies. Erica also received the Law Foundation of British Columbia Public Interest Award for academic achievement and outstanding commitment to the broader public interest. Erica’s volunteer activities during law school included being a clinician with both the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program and the Pro Bono Students of Canada Homeless ID Clinic. In addition, Erica was a tenant organizer and advocate at the Vancouver Tenants Union, a legal researcher for Lawyers’ Rights Watch Canada, and an advocate at the Supporting Women’s Alternatives Network.
Erica articled with Dickie & Company, working with Patrick Dickie and Michael Shapiro on a wide variety of cases. She has continued with the firm as a lawyer since being called to the bar in 2020. Erica has a strong commitment to social justice and a keen interest in labour law.
